In rolul protagonistului care isi vinde sufletul diavolului se afla Matt Ryan, care va deveni pentru cel putin 10 episoade John Constantine. Acum avem la dispozitie si un nou trailer in care putem vedea mai bine daca protagonistul benzilor desenate Hellraiser a fost adus la lumina asa cum ar trebui sau daca reinventarea sa se repeta asa cum s-a intamplat in filmul Constantine in care Keanu Reeves a jucat rolul principal.

Constantine are demonii proprii, el marturisind momentul in care un demon ia sufletul unei fetite de noua ani in Iad literalmente si de aceea se afla la sanatoriu in primele momente ale trailerului. Ingerul Manny(Harold Perrineau – Oz, LKost) il invinovateste pe John de moartea fetei si de trimiterea sufletului acesteia in Iad si acum acesta este condamnat alaturi de sufletul ei sa ajunga in Iad.

Constantine nu este insa singur in incercarea sa de a se salva, caci Liv Parsons (Lucy Griffiths - True Blood) este fata care poate vedea lucrurile supranaturale si care va deveni cu sau fara voia ei aliatul lui Constantine in lupta cu fortele naturale malefice ce vor veni. John a fost prietenul tatalui lui Liv, si acum vine in ajutorul acesteia, in timp ce fata in sine devine un reprezentant fizic al publicului care invata alaturi de ea mai multe despre lumea din spatele lumii. Liv este personajul obisnuit atras intr-o lume pe care nu o cunoaste si in care Constantine devine mentorul ei.

In cadrul serialului vom vedea posedari, monstri, demoni, ingeri si fantome, in settinguri care mai de care mai sinistre, caci seria in intregiema sa aduce mai mult a un melanj intre horror si supranatural cu suspans. Se pare ca din ce in ce mai multe televiziuni americane scot la inaintare seriale din ce in ce mai intunecate.

　　“Jealous?” Ryder whispered in my ear as one of his hands threaded through my hair at the back of my neck and kneaded my scalp soothingly.

　　“Of them? No, not really. My heart goes out to them. They had love, and had it ripped away from them. I just want a love that’s true and earth shattering. I want that, and I want it for them again, too. I want them to have more than just one night in a cold cemetery,” I said softly.

　　“You don’t think you will end up loving Adam.” He made it a statement instead of a question.

　　“I love him already, but not like they had, and I want that soul torturing love. The kind where you’d die for one last kiss, one last touch,” I said letting my eyes drift to the couple. “I thought being a Fairy would suck, but it’s destiny that really sucks.”





“I am not your anything.You can't just piss on my leg and say I'm yours.”



My cell phone rang, startling me, and I answered it.I winced as the dog continued to go off at the walls as if they would
attack him. “Stop barking!”
“What?” Ryder asked.
“I'm not talking to you. I'm talking to Mister Fancy Pants.” I should seriously change his name. It was too long.
“Who the fuck is Mister Fancy Pants?”
I snickered as he said my dog's name. Coming out of his mouth,
it really sounded bad.”






　“Crying will change nothing. In the end, they can only be used against you."




“I refused to look back. I wasn’t dumb enough to turn around and peek over my shoulder. I was the type who yelled at the girls in scary movies who did so.”




　“Be a good girl for me and I’ll save you from the big, bad Horde King. I’m coming to get you, Pet, so remember you just admitted that you need me. Watch for me tomorrow, and don’t let these people talk you into doing anything stupid…like killing the Horde King who can’t be killed by just fucking anybody.”
　　“You gonna scale the walls and be my Prince Charming?” I asked, raising a delicate brow in question.
　　“No Pet, I’ll be your Prince Fucking Charming,” he smiled wickedly and disappeared.
